Kristina Brown is a community organizer and a multidisciplinary artist whose creativity includes singing, acting and writing (plays, poetry and non-fiction). She has been active in the arts since childhood.
Kristina graduated honorably with a Bachelor of Arts degree from Columbia College Chicago. Studies included theater and music (gospel, jazz and musical theater). She has released four recordings, including a Christmas CD. She was working on her 5th when the pandemic hit and hopes to complete it in the near future.
Kristina has produced and directed creative arts programs for decades, and has been a featured performer, both locally and regionally within the Illinois / Iowa area. Her experience includes performing in concerts, festivals, plays, musicals, weddings, etc.
Kristina is an Arion Vocal Performance Award winner, and has also received grant awards from the Illinois Arts Council Agency. She is passionate about using her time and talent to serve others, including youth.
